About
Eric Jacksch is an Ottawa-based security professional with a background in criminology, corrections and social services. He’s also an accomplished photographer and writer with publication credits on articles addressing a wide range of technical and social issues.
Security
Eric holds the Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) designations. He has provided security advice to some of the world’s largest banks, automakers, governments, insurance companies and postal organizations.
Writing
Eric has been a regular contributor to several magazines and web sites, including Information Week Canada, INFOExecutive, M2 Magazine, MONiTOR Magazine, and the TECHLife Post.
Eric also runs MyPhotoSucks, a web site catering to photographers of all levels and home to the 12 Weeks to Better Photography program.
Photography
Eric created his first photographic images at age five and has been intrigued with the power and versatility of still images ever since. Eric’s primary photographic interests are portraiture, fine art, and landscapes. You can see his work and purchase selected prints from his online portfolio.
